Aubrey has a wealth of professional experience training numerous species, including horses, pigs, rats, exotic animals, and, of course, dogs. Her canine experience over the years has included volunteering at a dog shelter in Hartford, completing an internship as a Canine Sanctuary Caregiver, and working as a Kennel Technician for a private facility. While completing her Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from University of Connecticut, she became known by her peers as the student who could train pigs to sit and come when called. Following graduation, she was hired as a dog trainer for a pet retail company, and was responsible for conducting a variety of classes, ranging from private consultations to group puppy classes. Over the years, she has gained experience working hands-on within clients homes with an array of behavioral complex dogs. Meet the Assistant

Remus is a Beagle/Coonhound mix who Aubrey rescued at seven months of age in January of 2022. He has an inherently sweet and easygoing temperament, which makes him a fantastic decoy dog during training sessions. His favorite behavior to demonstrate is “Down” and his favorite treat is baked beef liver.
